I just thought I would kick off the 7 on 7 discussions. After La Maquina's dominance of the Baytown Lee and RGV championship in Weslaco this Saturday, they won't be allowed to advance for the championship in the Mission SQT because they have already qualified for the State Tourney. They however will still attend but will only participate in pool play. I hope we get put in the same pool as Mercedes so we can add the finishing touch to the 7 on 7 games. I'm going to have to say that E-E goes into the state tourney as the Valley's only undefeated team.

Did we even get to play? i Heard we gave up our spot to an edinburg school cuz they havent qualified yet and they wanted a chance.

I believe it is true. The messed up thing about it is that the championship game was between 2 non Valley schools (Beeville and a Laredo Alexander). Mercedes was looking to Qualify for State but came up short. :waiting: is running out for them.

I guess we can say we know how the houston schools felt at the SQT they hosted.
